FAQ
What is the difference between SMS and SMMS?
SMMS has two meltblown layers instead of one, which generally gives a better barrier at a similar weight.
What weight is used for surgical gowns?
Roughly 25–45 gsm is common, depending on the required protection level. Follow the standard your gowns must meet, and we will source fabric with matching test reports.
Can you provide test reports?
Yes. Hydrostatic head, filtration and tensile reports from the mill or a third-party lab are available on request.
Do you supply finished gowns and drapes?
We can source finished disposables on request. Finished medical products must meet your market's regulations; we provide the manufacturer's documentation.
